Panel One: Medium shot, from behind Cal. Cal has changed out of his school uniform and into a short-sleeved, turquoise blue shirt with two strips of white geotetric embroidery running down the front and back, over his shoulders. He has a golden apple with a bite taken out of it in his right hand and his left hand is on his hip. "Not bad!" he thinks to himself. He's looking at a whiteboard that he's put up to the right of their bathroom door, drawn up with a calendar for May. The bottom half, after his arrival, is filled out with classes and notes. "Hey, DJ!" he says, "I made us a schedule. It's color-coded with due dates and everything."

Panel Two: Wide shot from the side. DJ is in the foreground at his desk, bent over his work. "That sounds cool," he says, not looking up. Beyond DJ, Cal is giving him an annoyed look. A sunset sky can be seen in the window behind Cal, and now we can see his light grey jeans.

Panel Three: Closeup of Cal as he goes to take another bite of his apple. He's rolling his eyes, "You're welcome..." he thinks to himself, with a huff. SFX: >HMPH!<

Panel Four: Cal notices the clock on the wall between their windows. It's just past 8:30. "Oh, the cafeteria closes soon!" he says, "We should go."

Panel Five: Another side view with DJ in the foreground, writing. He doesn't look up and simply says, "Can't. Not finished." Cal is shocked by this

Panel Six: SFX: >CRACK!< Medium shot of Cal, from DJ's point of view. "Apple?" he asks. Cal's apple is in half, and he's offering the unbitten half of it to DJ / the viewer. The background is full of soft bubbles and sparkles, and there are apple blossoms surrounding Cal. The mood is very soft and romantic.

Panel Seven: Shot from behind the two of them with DJ sitting at his desk on the left, and Cal on the right. "Oh!" says DJ, "Uh... Sure! Thanks, Cal," DJ says, blushing. DJ has his hand out to take the apple. Cal smiles at DJ and says, "No problem." There's a small cloud of sparkles around Cal's head.
