Description
Panel One: A view of a class on chemistry, led by a woman in a lab coat and medical mask.
Panel Two: A class held inside of a surgical theatre. A woman in a wheelchair wearing a plague doctor uniform is lecturing over an open cadaver.
Panel Three: The inside of a school gym. Some students are practicing free throws while another runs along an elevated track.
Panel Four: The exterior of a building. There are flowers and a woman in a beekeeper's uniform tending to a beehive in the foreground. A voice coming from the window says, "Well, this is highly unusual. We only have one spot in the dorm, and you know how much-"
Panel Five: The interior of an office. Cal is sitting in a chair in front of the desk, with Doc standing beside him. A lady with short hair and wearing a cardigan is at the desk. Doc cuts her off by saying, with a dismissive gesture, "Don't worry about him. I'll take care of it." The lady looks nervous. "Are you sure?" Doc answers, "Trust me."
Panel Six: Doc puts her hand on Cal's shoulder and says, "Well, I'm off. I've got lots of paperwork to fill out." Cal is smiling and says, "Oh, okay. Thank you!"
Panel Seven: Doc looks over her shoulder as she leaves the office. She is smiling. "Take care, Cal. And welcome home."
Author Note
Evie calls the top of this page the "School Pamphlet" page because it reminds her of a trifold brochure. That's a good thing, because that's what I was going for! We've got a lecture class, a more hands-on, demonstrative style class, and a good phys ed program. There's even a hint about the grounds with the nice flowers and the beehives.
And if you're on a phone, you may have noticed something different about this page. Ehh? ^_^ What do you think? I figured, since I have a responsive website, I may as well take advantage of the fact and make the comic mobile-friendly. I FINALLY have everything caught up with Webtoon and Tapas, too, so you can follow it there if you like. Aside from that, I've just been working my hands off with the chainmaille and trying to finish Issue Two in time to have it ready for scheduling, here. It's been way more work this year because sales have been good, BUT I'm totally out of a few things! So my hands have been working like mad and I'm feeling it. Ooof. But I'm okay! I'm taking breaks, drinking lots of water, that sort of thing.
Three more weekends of Ren Fest to go. You can find me at my cart by the jousting arena, or Evie in the woods at the main booth, Versailles Jewelry.
