Description

Panel One: A smiling guy with medium-toned skin and dark brown hair waves and walks up, naked aside from a towel around his neck. He has a dimple on one side of his face and multiple pirecings in his ears. DJ says, from off-panel, "Oh! Hi, Zane!"

Panel Two: DJ continues, "You heard right. This is Cal." Zane, now between their tubs, leans over and says to Cal, "Nice to meet you!" "Hello," Cal answers.

Panel Three: DJ gestures to the newcomer. "This is Zane. He's one of our classmates." Zane rights himself and holds on to the towel as he says, "Cal, right? What're you in for?" Cal says, "Oh, uhm - Doctor." "Good choice!"

Panel Four: Zane looks down and smiles at DJ. "Does this mean your dad's finally starting to chill?" he asks.

Panel Five: DJ smiles a bit cautiously. "I hope so!"

I'm doubling down on getting the comic finished before Steel City Con! I can't believe it's so soon! At least now we have heat again so I'm not stopping frequently to warm up my hands so I can work. That suuuuucked. Add to that the booster shot I literally JUST got, and we'll see how things go.
