Panel One: The whole crew comes forward to comfort Callum in a giant hug pile.

Panel Two: Cal wipes at his eyes and asks, "Where are they now?" Jan is kneeling beside the bed and answers, "They're in your family plot."

Panel Three: Matt has his hand on Cal's shoulder. Cal says, "Thank you. Could I - Is there a cure?"

Panel Four: Blanche shrugs dramatically and says, "Maybe if we caught it early, but it looks like once you know something's wrong, it's too late."

Time for a HUG! Poor kid's been needing one, I'm sure.

Book-wise, I missed my deadline (sad face) BUT I'm still working on it. The inking is done, the color flats are almost done. Evie's been an absolute goddess and is helping out by doing all the masking and flatting while I draw and do shading on the flatted pages. (She is AMAZING. I have the best wife ever, sorry Gomez and Rick.) I'm currently working on adding shading, and then it's on to the cover! It should be done either today or tomorrow.

Worst case scenario is I have to pay a rush fee to get it printed in time for Steel City Con, that's it.

Holy crap, the con is NEXT WEEKEND. O______O
