Panel One: Shot of DJ at his desk with Cal standing next to him. DJ looks annoyed as he sets a book in the book stand. "Everyone else says that I'm the best student. I'm not," he says. Cal looks confused and asks, "But doesn't that mean they're all lying?"

Panel Two: Head shot of DJ. His face is partially in shadow and his shoulders are slumped. He looks defeated as he says, "It's not lying if you're convinced it's the truth."

Panel Three: Medium shot of Cal and DJ. DJ's back is to us now. Cal puts his hand to to his chin and says, "Ohhh... What they should say is that you're the top student." DJ raises his pen in agreement, "Exactly."

Panel Four: Long shot of DJ at his desk, his bed, and Cal, standing next to him. Scattered on DJ's bed is his satchel and its former contents. Notes, wadded paper, a book, his slate and pen are strewn about. DJ is still slumped as he looks at the mess. He sighs and says, "I'm probably one of the worst." Cal is also eyeing the small mess with a chagrined look. SFX: >sigh<

Panel Five: Medium view of Cal and DJ, from DJ's right. He's in profile. Cal shrugs and says, "At least you're good at studying." DJ's eyes are on his paper and he's writing. He doens't look up as he says, "That's what they say."

Panel Six: Head shot of Cal, looking confused. A question mark is in the air next to his head.

Panel Seven: Cal perks up, a burst effect appearing around his head as he has an idea. "Oh! I know what'll help!" he says.
