Description

Panel One: Very high overhead shot of Cal and DJ, both looking up towards the viewer. They are tiny, and surrounded by the winding staircase as it climbs. DJ says, "Now we just have to get to the roof!" "'Kay," says Cal. "Dammit," he thinks.

Panel Two: Medium shot of the two on the stairs. Cal is behind, hunched over and red-faced as he carries the box. "Why are we >huff< going to the >cough< roof?" His words are in a shaky balloon. DJ is looking over the tripod he's carrying on his shoulder at Cal. "The view from up there's amazing!" he says. SFX: >pant<

Panel Three: Longer shot, with DJ on the stairs in foreground and Cal a ways behind, leaning on the railing in the corner landing. DJ looks at Cal, concerned. "Are you okay?" he asks. Cal is looking up at him, smiling weakly. His face is red and he looks like he's having trouble standing. "I'll be fiiiiine. >pant< I've just never >cough< been up this many >cough< stairs before." SFX >gasp<

Panel Four: Close shot of DJ, still looking concerned. "Will you be okay if I go on ahead?" From off-panel, Cal says, his word balloon still wobbly, "Sure. I'll >cough!< be there in a bit."

Panel Five: Side view of Cal. He's leaning on the stair railing as he continues his way up. "See you at the top!" DJ says, from off-panel. ">pant pant< Okay! >gasp<" Cal says. "If I don't die, first," he thinks.
