Panel Two: *chatter* *chatter* The two young men are sitting side by side at a table, talking and eating. The blonde one is still wearing his hat, but the other has removed his mask and hat, and hung them on the bench. He has black hair, with a medium skin tone and pale eyes. A crowd of plague doctors is bustling behind them.

Panel Three: Narration - "My name is Callum Martinez, and I'm a student at the Yersina Academy." A closeup of Callum, the black-haired young man. He's laughing. Narration - "I'm going to be a plague doctor." We see his mask and hat, hanging next to him on the back of the bench.

Panel Four: Narration - "But it wasn't always so." The two are walking down a pillar-lined hallway. Callum is holding his mask and hat and says, "DJ, you forgot your mask." Dj is casually brushing his longish hair back. "And our books," he says.

Panel Five: Callum crosses his arms and glares. "Tch!" he goes. Narration - "I'm not from here. I'm from outside."

Author Note

Hello again! I'm posting a bit later, but here it is. ^_^ Our boys have names and we can really see their faces now. Before you ask, no, I haven't seen Dragon Prince, but I would like to. I chose a Scottish fist name for Backstory Reasons. And it does go well with his last name. Cal's face and DJs poses are a ton of fun to draw, but on this page I learned that there are some things that are very not fun to draw.

Waffles.

Why? Because if you get the persepective wrong you can tell super-quick, and silly me decided to do circular waffles instead of square, so that's circular perspective on top of it. Add to this the fact that I decided to draw the waffles at midnight during a pandemic. Yeah, cue major food craving, but nothing was open. :( No midnight waffles equals Sad Bran. Evie doesn't like Sad Bran, so while delivering some stuff to a friend the next afternoon she got us WAFFLES! Okay, so they weren't near as nice as the ones I drew, they were freezer waffles, but they were still amazing and exactly what I needed after doing the screentones the next night.

And yes, we've got some backstory coming up!
