Description

Panel One: "GET UP!" the masked plague doctor roars. "Waugh!" goes the young man, who is jolted cartoonishly awake.

Panel Two: "Okay, okay, I'm awake. What's the rush?" asks the young man, sitting up in bed and rubbing at his head. The plague doctor has his hands on his hips and says, "Today's Waffle Day. You know how quick they run out."

Panel Three: A close up of the young man's wide eyes. "Waffles?!" he asks.

Panel Four: "Let's go!" shouts the young man, suddenly fully dressed in a plague doctor uniform minus the mask. He is dashing down a pillar-lined corridor, dragging his friend behind him, who says, "Whoa!"

Happy Wednesday! I'm getting the hang of using all of the type and dialogue tools that Clip Studio Paint has to offer, and I am loving them. Finding a good font took longer than actually putting the type in the page, but I'm not surprised. Font sites are as bad as Wikipedia or TV Tropes for losing hours in. Still, I found some great fonts to use on Blambot.com! Thanks to their cool indie comic license practices, I can use some of their fonts for free! Of course I'm buying some as soon as humanly possible, because DANG they've got nice fonts. Five stars, would recommend.

Anyway, I'm going to update the comic on Wednesdays because that's when Evie updates her podcast. I scheduled this page to go live around 1 am, and I'm excited to see if it works. I'm also curious to see how the navigation will go. I haven't been able to test it on account of only having one page. So we'll see, won't we?
