Description

Panel One: Cal and Doc stare up at the front of Cal's house. Continuing from the last page, he asks, "Home?"

Panel Two: Doc and Cal hug and he starts to cry. She says, "Don't worry. We'll handle it. Everything will be okay."

Panel Three: Blanche pulls up in the cart. Cal is wiping at his eyes. She says, "I got us all packed up. Are we ready to head out?"

Panel Four: Doc asks Cal. "Do you want to go through one last time?" He looks away. "No."

Panel Five: A long view of the two carts on the road, leaving town. Blanche drives the Carpathia, with Doc and Cal in the front seat next to her, while Matt and Jan follow in a small, open-topped cart full of boxes.

Cal is off to into the unknown, but not without some hugs!

As for Issue Two, I don't think I can get it done before the Con, but I know I can get the penciling finished, and I'll be able to have something to show people to take preorders. The good thing about not rushing it is that I can add some extras in the form of bonus art and other goodies in the back! I'm thinking it'll be over fifty pages by the time I'm done, and that's okay. My profit margin won't be as much, but I did the math going in with my first book to account for this sort of scenario, so I saw it coming.
