Description

Panel One: Cal asks, "You didn't see anyone else, did you?" The crew answers: "Nope." "We checked every house." "I didn't see anyone."

Panel Two: Doc, curious, "Why do you ask?" Cal scratches his head and answers, "I remember a guy in white." Matt asks, "You mean me?" Cal: "I don't think so? I think he knew my name."

Panel Three: Matt is smiling and says, "I tried talking to you. You fought and tried to bolt when your feet touched the ground." Cal smiles apologetically. "Yeah, all I remember is just - "

Panel Four: Cal looks down in shock and realizes, "Oh, no! My watch!"

Panel Five: Jan raises her hand and smiles, "Don't worry, I have it." Cal sighs with relief, "Thank you."

Panel Six: Doc laces her fingers together and says, thoughtful, "Speaking of your belongings, we'll have to start packing early if we want to make good time getting back."

Panel Seven: Split panel with a black blackground. Cal asks, "Where are you taking me?" Doc answers, "Back home, to Yersinia."

Author Note

Guess what? Mom liked the comic! She's a nurse, and loved the Plague Nurse designs. I also introduced my stepdad to Twitch, so he and mom may be watching from time to time, which is both nerve-wracking and awesome.

And I've done the math and realized I once again find myself in the unenviable position of having to scramble to finish Issue 2 before the convention. Add to that the realization that I need to re-write Issue 2 because of length/pacing issues, and well... You have a somewhat panicked artist over here! ^^;;;;; But it'll be okay! This means that I've gotten Issue 3 mostly written already, so the wait for that shouldn't be long, either.
