Description

Panel One: Narration: "Later" DJ pushes the door open with his shoulder, looking down and glaring as he does so. He is carrying a small plate with toast on it in one hand and a hot cup of coffee in the other. We can see from the background that the overhead light is off, but there is a faint light coming from off-panel.

Panel Two: DJ looks up, a shocked expression on his face.

Panel Three: A wide shot of their room. DJ is standing a few steps into the room, staring blankly at the clean space. The floor is free of any debris, and his bed has been nicely made. The lamp at his desk is on, and we can see the coffee Cal got for him earlier still on the burner, ready to be reheated. Cal is in bed, sound asleep.

Panel Four: DJ is at his desk, and picks up the note Cal left for him.

Panel Five: A shoulder-up shot of DJ. His head is turned slightly and he's glancing over his shoulder at Cal with a soft expression on his face. Cal's curled up under his blankets, with his back to the viewer.
