Description
Panel One: Semi-above shot of Cal and DJ. Cal is propped up on his elbows and looking at DJ. "Speaking of lectures, I can't believe that you and Mr. Extra-Beaky are related." DJ, still laying down, has a finger raised in a rebuke. He sneers slightly as he says, "That's Doctor Extra-Beaky to you, Mr Martinez!" DJ's word balloon has a thicker outline, reflecting the change in his voice as he does the impression.
Panel Two: Cal is sitting up, now, impersonating the headmaster. His eyes are closed in a glare, and he's sneering distainfully as he gestures in a grand manner and says, "Good mask-maker sir, I need the beakiest mask you have to offer!" His word balloons have a darker outline like DJ's did before, indicating a change in his voice. "No no, beakier than that!" he continues.
Panel Three: Shot from behind the two of them. The railing and night sky are in the background. DJ is sitting up now, with one hand at his face to cover his grin. He asks, getting in on the joke, ">pfft!< Howbeaky?" Cal, still maintaining his headmaster impression, answers, "Enough to be pompous but not silly." "Oh, we can't have that now, can we?" says DJ. "Oh, no," answers Cal.
Panel Four: View from in front of them, from Cal's side. DJ is smiling as he mimes offering an imaginary mask to Cal. "How about this one?" he asks. "Oh, it's perfect!" Cal says, with a smirk, "Intimidating, yet suitably flaccid."
Panel Five: Above shot. The two of them are on their backs, laughing. SFX: Ha! haha! Ha! (lots of laughter)

This was yet another super-fun page to write/draw! Not only is Cal doing impressions again, but DJ literally can't remember hanging out like this in his entire life, much less joining in on a joke. It's nice seeing him laugh without hiding his face.This weekend is the last weekend of the Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival! Come stop by the jousting area to watch the show and say Hello! ^_^I'm at the green and gold cart.
