Panel One: Wide panel of a classroom. There are rows of two-seater desks, with a wide, raised platform at the front of the room for the teacher. On the platform is a lectern, and behind it is a whiteboard. Next to the platform is a skeleton hanging on a stand. A mix of doctor, nurse and researcher students are milling around. They're getting ready for class, talking, finding seats, etc. At the very front and center desk sit Cal and DJ. DJ asks, "Ready for your first class?"

Panel Two: Head shot of Cal in his full uniform, mask included. He's smiling and holding up a quill in his gloved hand. "Ready!" he says. The background is a graph paper pattern.

Panel Three: Medium shot of Cal and DJ at their desk. Fern, on the left of the frame, is coming up the aisle next to Cal. She's wearing a black skirt with a ruffled edge, a black corset-style belt, and a black top with ruffles along the buttons. She has on a student doctor cape, gloves and hat, but she is minus the mask and hood. She also has on her wrappings. "Hey, you two!" she says, waving and smiling. "Hi, Fern!" Says Cal." A student in the background looks up from her book in surprise and sees their exchange.

Panel Four: Fern leans on the desk in front of Cal and eyes DJ, smirking. "The big psych paper's due tomorrow, DJ. I'm already finished." DJ hasn't even looked up from the desk and says, "I haven't even started." Cal, in between the two, looks shocked.

Panel Five: Chibi panel. Fern is stomping away, with fire and a dark, hatched background behind her. "Of course you haven't!" she says. Fern SFX: "Hmph!" Stomp! Stomp! Cal turns to watch her leave. "Whoa!" he thinks.

Panel Six: Front view of Cal and DJ. Cal turns to him and asks, "You're not worried?" "Nope!" says DJ.

Panel Seven: Shot of Cal from DJ's POV if he had been looking at him. "He's amazing!" Cal thinks. The background is full of soft pentagons, and a few drift in front of him.
