Panel One: Cal peeks around a corner, a question mark over his head. From off-panel, a voice shouts, "Git 'er!"

Panel Two: "Augh! Quit it!" shouts Fern. She's balancing on one leg, trying to shield herself from a clod of dirt being thrown at her by a little girl. There's also a little boy there, waving his fist and a garden trowel above his head as he shouts, "Raaahh!" Both of the children have dirty knees and elbows. Fern is wearing a purple and white shirt with a floral pattenr on the torso, dark shorts and wide corset-style belt, along with her typical heeled booties. In the background, Cal watches, surprised.

Panel Three: Cal walks towards Fern, hiding his smile behind his hand as he chuckles to himself. SFX: >pfft! Heh heh!"< Fern is flat on her back, with her arms sprawled out to the side. "Ugh... Little brats," she groans. The children are leaving. The little boy has his fist triumphantly in the air. "We win!" he says, as he follows the girl. The little girl is proudly marching away with a smug smile on her face.

Panel Four: Low-angle shot from Fern's POV of Cal. He's got his hands on his hips and the sun is glinting off of his sunglasses. He smirks as he asks, "Having trouble?"

Panel Five: Closeup of Fern's face as she lays in the grass, roughly from Cals angle, so she is upside-down in the frame. There are leaves and bits of grass in her hair. "Cal!" she says, with a big smile on her face and sparkling eyes, "Thank goodness!"
