Panel One: Cal is sitting at his desk, looking down at the (off-panel) textbook. DJ is on his right, leaning over him so that his head is almost right next to Cal's, with his left hand on the back of Cal's chair. "Really, where?" DJ asks. "Next chapter's practice test," Cal says. He's smiling.

Panel Two: Cal's profile, from DJ's POV. The background is dreamy with sparkles and dappled light. Cal's brow is furrowed slightly as he looks down at the book and says to himself, "I wonder how that happened. Did he do that on purpose or was it an accident? It's a whole section away, so I don't think he meant to put..." The words get smaller and smaller and fade away as Cal goes on, indicating that DJ's not paying attention to what he's saying anymore.

Panel Three: DJ blushing, also with a dreamy background. He looks a little surprised and smitten.

Panel Four: Closeup of DJ's hand as he grips the back of Cal's chair, hard. SFX: >GRIP!< From off-panel, Cal says, "At least we figured it out, right?"

Panel Five: Extreme closeup of DJ's eye as he looks away. "Yeah..."

Panel Six: Another closeup of DJ's hand, but this time it's hovering over Cal's shoulder, as though he's going to touch him. "Hey, Cal -" he says.

Panel Seven: Wide shot of the two of them. DJ's stood up more, and he looks very nervous as he pulls his hand away from Cal's shoulder. Cal's turned to look at DJ and didn't notice his hand getting so close. "Can we play one more round?" DJ asks. "Sure!" says Cal, smiling.
