Description
Panel One: Fern and DJ give each other concerned looks.
Panel Two: Fern jumps up and gives Cal a BIG hug, squeezing him tight. SFX: GLOMP! "Well, you belong here!" she says, with a big smile. Cal is shocked, and looks panicked. "AUGH!" he says.
Panel Three: DJ hides his smile behind his hand while Cal looks to him for help, still being crushed in Fern's hug. "Thanks... >oof!< Fern..." Cal says. SFX: >Squeeze!< He's looking to DJ with gritted teeth. "DJ, help!" he whispers.
Panel Four: The three of them. DJ's still hiding his grin behind his hand. "Okay, you two," he says, "Time to get to work." Fern is laughing, "Haha! Oops!" she says. Cal pulls at his shirt and inhales sharply. SFX: >GASP!<
Panel Five: Chibi panel of the three. Fern has little devil horns and a tail as she holds up a book. "Right!" she says, "Time to see if you can hold up your end of our little bargain." DJ slumps. "Oh, yeah... The deal," he says, "Did you forget, too?" Cal crosses his arms and looks away grumpily. "No," he says, "But I was hoping she had."
