Description
Panel One: Cal is in the foreground, his back to the reader. "All done!" he says, "Now, say goodbye to Inspector Rabbit." The children are looking at him sadly and protesting. "Awwwww!" they say, and "Nooooooo......"
Panel Two: Closeup of the puppet, with Cal's left hand gripping one of the ears, "Don't worry, goslings, you'll see him again!" says Cal, from off-panel. "Say bye-bye!" The children reply, from off-panel, "Bye bye, 'Spector Rabbit!"
Panel Three: Head and shoulders shot of Cal as he pulls the handkerchief off his hand with a flourish and a big smile. SFX: >FWIP<
Panel Four: Cal bows to the children, his arms outstretched theatrically. The children cheer and clap. "Yaaaay!" they say. SFX: >clap!< >clap!<
Panel Five: Fern and Cal are in the foreground, waving to the children, as they scamper off into the building. "Bye, Miss Fern!" they say. "Bye!" says Fern.
Panel Six: A triangular inset of Fern smiling cutely. The background is full of flowers.
Panel Seven: Fern turns on Cal, looming over him cartoonishly with flames behind her. "How did you do that?!" she roars. A tiny Cal in the corner flinches away and looks at her fearfully.

Fern can be a little... Competitive.
And >whew!< I'm finally done with the crowd scenes! The next pages should go a bit faster. Let's see how that goes.
