Description

Panel One: A room with a woodstove, table, couch, and desk. Doc is seated at the desk, holding a notebook. Matt is half sitting on the back of the couch. Blanche sits at the table, which is covered in lab equipment. They're all staring at Cal, and aside from Blanche, are unmasked. Jan leans forward and asks, "Hey, how are you feeling?"

Panel Two: Cal panics and tried to ward Jan away. "Get away from me!" Jan puts her hands up. "Don't worry, you're safe, we won't-"

Panel Three: Cal covers his face with his arm. "I'm sick! Get out before you catch it!" Jan looks back at the team with surprise. "Oh! He doesn't know."

Panel Four: Jan kneels beside the bed and gently lowers Cal's arm. "It's all right. You can't hurt us." He asks, "What?"

Panel Five: Jan is all smiles as she holds Cal's hand in hers. "You're a Carrier. Like us."

Holy cats! The team has faces! Well, most of them. Blanche is working, so she's still wearing her mask. I had a lot of fun making that cute plague doctor and hourglass background behind Jan in that last panel, too. Oh, and not only are WE fully vaccinated, the kiddo got her first shot, too! We were all ready for the Moderna round two horribleness. We got soup, saltines, ginger ale, the works! And what happened? Sore arms. Not even as bad as the last time because we did the arm windmill trick from TikTok. This means that we'll all be safe once Steel City Con rolls around next month, and we can start looking for other events in the area, too.
