Description

Panel One: Cal, the Headmaster, and DJ. The Headmaster has his arms crossed and is looking disapprovingly at DJ as he says, "Darwin, you need to take your responsibility as Mr. Martinez's new tutor more seriously." DJ's head is still bowed, and he's frowning. The Headmaster continues, "He clearly needs your assistance with more than just schoolwork."

Panel Two: View from underneath the columned walkway. The Headmaster has turned and is starting to walk away from Cal and DJ, who are looking towards him as he does so. DJ is looking off to the side with an irritated expression. Cal is looking at the Headmaster, glaring slightly. The Headmaster says, "Well, I need to get back to work, and you two need to get back to your studies."

Panel Three: The Headmaster from behind. His head is turned slightly, and his left hand is behind his back in a fist. He gestures with his right hand as he says, "Oh, and happy belated birthday, Mr. Martinez."

Panel Four: A long, thin shot of the walkway, with a few garden plants in the foreground. On the left, Cal and DJ are walking side by side, to the left. On the right, the Headmaster continues to leave.

Panel Five: Cal and JD from behind, turning to see if the Headmaster is gone. DJ looks nervous, peeking over his shoulder with his teeth showing and his shoulders hunched. In contrast, Cal is turned more, with both eyes facing towards the viewer, in the direction of the Headmaster. He's still glaring.

Panel Six: Cartoony-style DJ, throwing his hands in the air with a surprised expression on his face. The background is full of chibi plague doctor heads looking confused, with interrobangs over their heads. "It was your BIRTHDAY?!" he says.

Panel Seven: Cartoony-style Cal, pointing his finger at DJ with a confused look on his face. The background is the same as DJ's. "Your name is DARWIN?!"
